On 27/01/2022 the Department of Tourism hosted the international meeting of the Erasmus+ project “TRAIN-e-HOTEL” (2021-1-SK01-KA220-HED-000023291), which was held due to the ongoing pandemic situation in the online space. During the meeting, the partner institutions from Hungary, Czech Republic, Italy and Latvia started their cooperation in the realisation of the first outcome of the project – the construction of a virtual training hotel. The implementation will include the active participation of students as well as cooperation with tourism professionals. We expect that the educational and development activities of the first project outcome will help to bring students closer to the real practise of hotel management and develop their knowledge, skills and competences in the HORECA segment, tourism and related business or marketing areas that meet the needs of the labour market.
