The events connected to the World Tourism Day in Nitra were held from 27 November till 1 October. Within the course of Gastronomy, we took part in the lectures of two brothers, Patrik and Lukáš Masár, during which we learned more about their entrepreneurship and business in gastronomy. The theme of the lecture was “When a dream becomes reality or new business goals in gastronomy“. The two brothers started their business in 2016 when they bought a mobile booth and started to sell tacos, burgers and hotdogs. Later they opened a bistro named it Bearded Brothers, which is located in Nitra and offers a selection of fast food and drinks.
However, the visions and dreams of the Brothers spread even further. Today, the entrepreneurs are planning to create a project called “Project without Borders”. This project should be created in the beautiful surroundings of Ratnovská bay, located at the village Ratnovce, which is near Piešťany. Their plan is to renovate and improve the already existing area, which would be interesting for foreign tourists. The beautiful garden area should be focused on sports, entertainment and food. It will include swimming pools, tennis courts, wakeboarding complex, beach bar, restaurant, camp and many other attractions.
The lecture was very interesting and we are excited about participating in similar lectures in the future, as well.
